OverviewWelcome to Business and Computer Class, my name is Ms. Welsh. In this course students will learn the fundamentals of computers and day-to-day business operations through real life experiences. We will be working on projects, business and computer terminologies, keyboarding skills, marketing/promotions, creating various marketing materials and introducing some basic elements of finance.

Business: This course will focus on students to think with an open-mind; develop communication, technology, marketing and leadership skills, and at-the-same time learning the fundamentals to operating a business. Students will be “hands-on” using technology as a resource to develop and motivate their learning experience.
Computer: This course is designed to provide a basic overview of computer technology and to introduce students to the basics and foundations required for today’s business environments. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency with keyboarding and fundamental computer applications, so that they may be used as communication tools for enhancing personal and work place proficiency in an information-based society. Students will use the computer to create spreadsheets, presentations and correspondence by using Microsoft Office Suite.
